Ian Engelman, M.S. CPO Inventor & Founder Ian is a Certified Orthotist and Prosthetist with 15 years of experience. He is co-founder of BioMetrics, Inc a successful orthotic and prosthetic service provider located in Trumbull, CT. He graduated from Tufts University with a degree in Engineering. His postgraduate work in Prosthetics and Orthotics was at Northwestern in Chicago. He earned a Masters Degree from the University of Connecticut, School of Allied Health, with a focus in research. Mr. Engelman is a member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists and is published in the professional journal, The Almanac. Insightful Products, LLC was founded by Mr. Engelman to develop products to help the medical community service the geriatric population. He has many patents and has developed the Step-Smart ™, an ankle foot orthoses & FootFunnel ®, an ergonomic shoe donning device. |
